Exit Glacier pan

We walked and walked and couldn't believe how long those couple of miles were. As we finally approached the glacier, the sun had set and we were not particularly impressed with the view of the glacier compared to how much effort it took to get there. It is, of course, more spectacular during the summer when it doesn't blend in with the surrounding landscape and you can drive all the way up to the glacier. Jesper and I did not feel like walking the last couple of miles, so this is as close as we got. We had walked about 5 miles (~8 km) in the snow already and were looking forward to be back in the car. The road isn't turning; the dramatic panorama view shows more than 180 degrees.
